The Krishna Institute of Medical Technology Society (KIMTECH), a registered body under the A.P. Societies Registration Act, the brain child of Dr.V.V.Krishnam Raju, came into existence on 14th February, 1990. The society on realizing the dire need for good and comprehensive education for women, initially embarked on its voyage by founding V.S.L. Women's Degree College at Kakinada in the year 1993. The society furthered the cause of Women's Education by starting several other colleges with innovative courses and a school. The society, now transformed as TEAM-VSL, has made inroads into the field of Medical Sciences, Educational Training and Technological Sciences. Dr. V.Sitarama Raju, the young dynamic secretary of TEAM-VSL is ably assisted by his spouse Mrs.V.Sandhya and they take pride in planning and starting new ventures for promoting good and quality higher education. As such the TEAM-VSL to this day singly stands out as the PRIDE of KAKINADA in the education arena.
